If you don't want to be a sales person - then don't!

Boy, growing up in a salesman's home left me scarred for life. I understand all about sales. It is an honorable profession - and it is a profession! Part-timers, wannabe's, and network marketers give selling a bad name.

So how do you not be a salesman while building a network business? Just don't be one. Sales people do three things that everyone's sales resistance antennae instantly pick-up. So, stop doing these 3 things.

1. Don't follow-up with prospects - they know you're not "just checking in".
2. Don't ask for a decision - if they really want to join they will call you.
3. Don't promote your products, company, and business opportunity.

Here's the secret: 3% of the market place is dying to join you and your company. Just go find them. You'll know who they are. They're the ones that call you and ask questions. Heck they'll probably hound you to sponsor them!

I'd like to know what you thimk.
